This is a question we get asked a lot here at Revive. The answer is no. We treat a wide variety of aches and pains throughout the body including neck and back pain, migraines and headaches as well as other musculoskeletal conditions.
Low back pain, neck, shoulders, hips and knees are the most common complaints we receive here at Revive Chiropractic Clinic Leeds. The back is often an important element of your treatment as posture, pain and flexibility can worsen or cause other aches and pains such as headaches.
We also offer a sports massage too!
What Can A Chiropractor Help With?
Pain doesn’t have to be a normal part of everyday life. There’s a wide variety of aches and pains caused by lifestyle, age and injury that cause pain, stiffness or discomfort for people across the UK. The most common complaints we treat are:
Back & Neck Pain
Chiropractic care for back and neck pain is very effective. There are also many issues that are associated with back and neck pain such as pins and needles or numbness.
Headaches and migraines affect an estimated 1 in 7 people around the world. If you suffer from recurring headaches, chiropractic care can stop them occurring or reduce the frequency and severity of them.
We always recommend that our patients participate in regular exercise. However, exercise can increase the risk of common injuries such as ankle sprain, rotator cuff syndrome and tennis elbow.
Frozen Shoulder/ Arm Pain
Frozen shoulder is also known as adhesive capsulitis and can cause pain and stiffness in the shoulder. These are some of the most common problems we treat here at our chiropractic clinic Leeds.
Many different conditions can cause pain in the hips, including osteoarthritis, labral tears and issues with the buttock muscles. We help to strengthen surrounding muscles and alleviate pain.
Ankle & Foot Pain
Advice from our team will ensure a speedy recovery. We help you to strengthen the muscles and ligaments of your foot and ankle to get you back on your feet.
Does Treatment Hurt?
No. Some soreness after your appointment is normal though, like the feeling you might have after a massage. If you do experience some discomfort, it will be mild and should not last for more than 24 hours.
