At Revive Chiropractic we are an all-female team – but that’s not important . We welcome everyone and treat an equal number of both male and female patients in our clinic. Our focus is the quality of care we provide for you and your family. A female chiropractor will aim to decrease any pain, improve mobility and help you get on with everyday life.
What Can A Chiropractor Help With?
A female chiropractor Leeds will aim to decrease any pain, improve mobility and help you get on with everyday life. At Revive Chiropractic, we treat:
Back and neck pain
Pins & needles
Hip pain & knee pain
Foot & ankle pain
We also provide you with lifestyle recommendations to help prevent further issue and ensure you get the most out of your appointment.
Gender does not affect a chiropractor’s ability to look after any patient. Let’s explore some of the commonly held misconceptions about female chiropractors.
Of course, a certain amount of physical strength is required for certain treatments. However, it is the skill of the manoeuvre that determines its effectiveness, rather than the force and strength exuded. A chiropractor must complete a four-year degree to become fully qualified, with one year of that on placement in a work setting. The role of a chiropractor is specialist; being able to identify issues and carry out bespoke treatment with expertise is the key to successful treatment.
Female Chiropractors Only Treat Women
A female chiropractor is trained to treat everyone, as is a male chiropractor. The high standard of care does not differ and both male and female chiropractors are trained to tailor their treatment where necessary, for example during pregnancy.
Why Choose A Female Chiropractor?
The choice of a female chiropractor is down to your personal preference. Sometimes female patients feel more comfortable under the care of a female practitioner or may feel more at ease speaking about their issues. At Revive Chiropractic, we respect your personal choice and treat both men and women.
How Long Will My Appointment Be?
Your initial consultation will take approximately one hour and your first treatment will begin during that time.
Subsequent treatments last around 20 minutes, providing plenty of time for you to ask questions and for the chiropractor to discuss the progress being made.
